Introducing...

Yeah yeah...I know quite a few of you have seen this on FA
...but he so totally needs an introduction here at DA, so nya!

Introducing Roopert the Kangaroo, a curious, little critter who's the latest of my additions. Little Roopert had been a character in development for weeks until a few days ago. Ignoring the draft sketch (which I never uploaded here), he underwent a few changes in appearance and name. Now we have a small sweatband on his tail and "Roo" spelling to shake things up a bit.

The pose, simple and common, was kinda sorta inspired from my cat. She was laying there when I was drawing this up a week back, and it looked cute enough. Unfortunately, I will have to officially label my cat as a slut, because my father was asking me about the "provocative" pose when I first showed him this picture, and to top that off, my friends in art class pointed it out too. *sigh* Man-slut roo! XD

Roopert will surely be a wonderful addition to my characters. Already I am feeling quit a surge of inspiration from the little guy. I mean, if I were to upload every sketch I've done this past week...yeah. Call me Roopert obsessed now. XD
